Tim Weaver Biography: Through loose and informal handling of shapes, bold use of color and a love of spontaneity, Tim Weaver translates literal images into unique and personal watercolors.  Painting both in the studio and on location, Weaver presents the viewer with a distillation of various subjects ranging from dilapidated farm houses to bustling city streets.

"An artist has the unique opportunity to teach others to see beauty in things that might otherwise go unnoticed.  The most common of subjects can be made beautiful by means of the artist’s personal translation, distillation and elaboration."

Though his style has developed over many years of painting, Tim Weaver credits several well known artist-instructors for their influence.  Included are:  Tony van Hasselt, Judi Wagner, Edwin Havas and Bill Grah.  Since 1992 the artist has been giving watercolor classes in Luzerne County , Northeast Pennsylvania and the surrounding area.  He has demonstrated for many art groups and has won numerous awards in art shows in the northeast.  Tim has conducted workshops for many art groups including The Bethlehem Palette Club, Wyoming Valley Art League, Kingston, PA, The Art Association of Roxbury, Succasunna, NJ, Parkland Art League, Allentown, PA and though the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts Program. In 1996 Tim was elected to signature membership in the Pennsylvania En Plein Air Society, a group of artists dedicated to painting in the open air.
